Cooka Curve
- Keeps cooking through a power cut — stored heat, not a battery
- Cheaper per meal than LPG at current cylinder rates
- Seven-year rated heating plate life
Cooking beyond power — under 1 unit an hour
Professional searing
The high-heat band a domestic hob cannot hold — a proper sear, a real stir-fry, a tandoori char.
Round and flat cookware
Kadai, handi, tawa, pressure cooker, flat pan. No magnetic base, no adapter plate, no compromise.
Continues through cuts
Stored heat keeps the recipe going when the supply drops, instead of leaving you with a half-cooked pot.
The plate stores the heat. So the cooking never stops.
Patented Direct Heat Conduction charges a reinforced ceramic mass instead of heating the pan directly. Cut the supply mid-simmer and the stored energy carries the pot on — the one thing induction cannot do on an Indian grid.
Every pan in your kitchen already fits
Flat induction punishes you for owning a round-bottomed kadai. The curved ceramic bowl is cut to that geometry — full contact, even heat up the walls, no scorched ring in the centre. And because nothing is being induced, there is no magnetic-base requirement at all.
What changes in your kitchen
Plug in. Set the heat. Cook.

Looking after the plate

Before you order
Does it really keep cooking when the power goes out?
Yes. DHC charges a ceramic thermal mass rather than heating the pan directly, so when the supply drops the plate keeps radiating its stored energy and a simmer or a slow gravy carries on. It is not a battery and it will not start a cold cook — it protects the dish you are already making.
Will my existing kadai and pressure cooker work on it?
Any cookware works — iron, steel, aluminium, brass, clay handis and glass, flat-bottomed or round. There is no magnetic base requirement because nothing is being induced, which is exactly where flat induction hobs fail an Indian kitchen.
How is running cost under one unit an hour at 3500 W?
3500 W is the peak draw while the plate charges to temperature. Once it is up, the controller cycles the element to hold your set point and average consumption falls under a unit per hour in normal cooking. At roughly Rs 8 a unit that works out cheaper per meal than domestic LPG at current cylinder rates.
Is the surface safe to touch after cooking?
No — and that is by design. The plate holds heat, which is the whole point of DHC, so the surface stays hot well after you switch off and is marked accordingly. The body has cool-touch side handles, an integrated cooling system for the electronics and an overheat cut-off.
What is covered by the warranty?
Two years comprehensive with on-site service, and a seven-year rated life on the heating plate. Every unit carries a QR service tag — scan it for warranty lookup and to raise a service request.
